Digitizing is not a file conversion. Somebody has to decide the direction every stitch runs, how the underlay supports the fabric, where to pull and where to compensate, and how a piece of fine text stays legible at two inches wide. Get it wrong and the logo puckers, the letters close up, and the customer notices.
Merlin was trained the old way — laying out artwork by hand at six-to-one scale and shrinking it down, learning exactly how a stitch interacts with each material. That grounding is why our files behave on knit, twill, fleece and structured cap fronts, not just on a flat test swatch.
